What do you wish?

Posted on Jan 19th, 2008 by Goddess : Ange Goddess
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 18, 2008:

I wish that there were more love and compassion in the world.....

The more we love, the less we fear.

The less we fear, the more we understand.

The more we understand, the more tolerance we have.

The more tolerance we have, the more compassion we feel.

The more compassion we feel, the more open we are.

The more open we are, the more we love..................

Forgiveness

Posted on Dec 17th, 2007 by Goddess : Ange Goddess
Recently, I posted about Forgiveness and Emotional Intelligence and I was not surprised at how many people find that sometimes they just cannot forgive others or themselves.

It is a simple process but having to let go of the fact that it makes you feel like a victim which is an escape for some, is just too good to get you out of that prison!

Baggage

Carrying our baggage around gives us permission to act like a victim.  The past is done.  There is nothing you or I can do to change it, but there is something we can do to change the NOW and the future that we live into.

Imagine if you didn't have to carry around that suitcase.  Imagine being free from the thing that holds you back.  I challenge you to throw it away.  I challenge myself everyday to live in a state of gratitude.  Do you?

Being Present

Posted on Dec 1st, 2007 by Goddess : Ange Goddess
Couple
One of my goals that I stated when I first joined Zaadz is to Be Present and learn how to just be when I am talking to others, or working on a project... by that I mean being what I am working on.

It has given me many challenges with my mind flitting from here to there and I still have not managed to be fully present, in converstaions mainly.  I'm not sure why it is that I cannot be still and enjoy being with just that person in a one on one.

Now I am not making excuses here as that is a cop out.  I am just writing down my thoughts as they come to me as I'm sure that this will  help me in achieving that goal.  So here goes my thoughts.

The fact that my roles in life include being a mother, wife, housekeeper, finance manager, travel agent, taxi driver, family assistant, writer, business woman, virtual assistant, forum administrator, volunteer for charities, help others in giving good karma to their online work,  student, teacher,  and I am sure there are others that do not come to mind right now, all have a say in what or where my focus should be.

Focusing on one thing at one time doesn't seem possible for me.  Perhaps instead of doing many things at once, doing one thing well and then moving onto the next task can draw me closer to being present as I see it.

Your assistance is welcomed if you have some ideas or ways to help me get closer to achieving this goal.  How have you managed to Be Present and what are your thougths on this?

What's the best letter you've ever received?

Posted on Sep 21st, 2007 by Goddess : Ange Goddess
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 21, 2007:

I received this letter just today so the timing is perfect for this question.  It goes like this:

... was more attracted to your physical beauty and I forgot that there is a sweet person inside the shell.

I was a liitle too preoccupied with admiring what I was "seeing" and began to build a beautiful world around me.

There is so much pain, sorrow and ugliness in the world and we all have seen our share of it.

I was unintentially creating my own beautiful world and I mentally added you to this world in my mind.

I had no intention of "using" anyone, but I was not aware that I may be causing others discomfort.

I do not wish to reduce you to your optics nor what you physically reveal.

I am just fortunate to have a "friend" that is capable of "seeing" more than I can.

Through you I have learned to be a better person and I think that is what friends are for.

You are a beauty, but more than just optically.

Thank you for being you and for being here.

Harry

I was left speechless...

About what are you most judgmental?

Posted on Sep 12th, 2007 by Goddess : Ange Goddess
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 12, 2007:

Free_hugs_melbourne_4
I learned a long time ago not to judge anyone. In fact, I remember when I was a little girl, my father was called up for jury duty and he replied back that he was not put on this earth to judge anyone and did not attend.  I had a good teacher.

In my wisdom, I have chosen to accept 'what is' and that we are all made the same.  We all have the same fears, feelings and challenges to deal with.  Doing this in the best way we know how is all we can do.  There is no right or wrong way, just the way we are able to.

In fact, I recently attended a Free Hugs Day event which was held wherever you happend to be and I can tell you, if I had have been judgmental, I'm sure that I would not have been able to go out to a public place and hug complete strangers.

Free Hug Day... Spread the Love...

Posted on Sep 1st, 2007 by Goddess : Ange Goddess
I heard about this event and had to share so please pay-it-forward....

September 10th, 2007 will be remembered as the biggest Free Hug day this world has ever seen. Everybody get ready, this one is going to be HUGE.
Invite everyone you can!!!!! Thank you!!!!

Location: Everywhere
Start time: September 10, 12:00am
End time: September 11, 12:00am

The Reason for the date,

September 10th is the day before 9/11. We will all sit down on that day and think about the tragedies that have befallen this world, we will think of the twin towers, of the iraq war, of the terrorist attacks all over the world. We will think to ourselves...what has this world come to? where has the good gone. That is why this event has been created, so when you do ask yourself that, you think about all the hugs you had recieved the day before and you think to yourself that there is love left.

People need to be reminded that this world has a great amount of good left in it, and that it should never be forgotten.

A beautiful story:

Once a man was walking along a beach. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day. Off in the distance he could see a person going back and forth between the surf's edge and and the beach. Back and forth this person went. As the man approached he could see that there were hundreds of starfish stranded on the sand as the result of the natural action of the tide. The man was struck by the the apparent futility of the task. There were far too many starfish. Many of them were sure to perish. As he approached the person continued the task of picking up starfish one by one and throwing them into the surf. As he came up to the person he said, "You must be crazy. There are thousands of miles of beach covered with starfish. You can't possibly make a difference." The person looked at the man. He then stooped down and pick up one more starfish and threw it back into the ocean. He turned back to the man and said, "It sure made a difference for that one!"

Soup for the Soul

Posted on Aug 29th, 2007 by Goddess : Ange Goddess
Well it's been quite some time since I have been in here to write.  I worked out if you let life get in the way, it can disrupt your good intentions.  The flow of energy that so abundantly carries you to wherever your thoughts take you can sometimes be positive and sometimes negative.

A little soup for the soul is just what the doctor ordered me to get as I and all my family are recovering from a bout of the flu amongst other things.

Don't let life drag you down, pick up and read a little story I posted on my blog about how energy and motion must move

It's all about experiences we have and holding onto them rather than letting them go, which is a challenge for me as it can for some of you.  Let go and let God and cherish your blessings as they come.  Life is here to teach us and learning lessons only helps us grow.

Bless

What's the best job in the world?

Posted on Aug 28th, 2007 by Goddess : Ange Goddess
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 28, 2007:

The best job in the world would have to be one where you can give more value than what your clients pay for in cash.  To be able to give more value for your services and at the same time really enjoy what you do would be really awesome.  That aside from being a mother :)

For whom and for what are you grateful?

Posted on Aug 9th, 2007 by Goddess : Ange Goddess
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 09, 2007:

Being in a state of gratitude is wonderful... I am grateful for the sun that rises every morning to give me a new day... I am grateful for my loving supportive partner and the stability he provides in my life... I am grateful for my daughters Isabella and Nelly who never let me sit still for more than five minutes when they are around... I am grateful for life's little pleasures like a warm smile and a friendly note... I am grateful to be me...

Bless
